Pet Portraits:

Make your special friend into special art with a custom pet portrait

My custom pet portraits are unique in that they are completed in an abstract way, using layered effects where the image is painted directly onto the glass of the frame. Doing this creates a special & creative depth to the artwork. Combine this with unique colors, abstract backgrounds, & eye popping linework, you have a unique & one of a kind portrait of your special friend.

Portraits can include 1, 2, or 3 pets with each additional pet adding a small additional fee to cover the complexity of the artwork.

My Art Process

While I am exploring mediums & styles, my process tends to stay the same with my artistic creations. In general, the steps I take to create my art follows these steps:

  1. Meet & discuss idea, important colors, medium, canvas type/size, final location of piece, framing requirements, & other items of note

  2. Prepare pencil sketches of layout, design, & placement of the subject with or without input from the buyer

  3. Develop a color palette for the piece

  4. Perform smaller, quickly sketched painting studies to ensure that the idea is solidified

  5. Complete the final painting with check-ins along the way

  6. Discuss final framing & delivery
